Considering that there are countless board exam takers in every city and province in the Philippines in a year, the Professional Regulations Commission has set several offices and satellite agencies across the nation. They are the modes in delivery the services to the graduates and professionals of the different fields.

PRC is not only the body that is in-charge for the conduct of licensure examinations. It is also the government office that issues the professional ID and facilitates the oath-taking of the passers. Licensed professionals also renew their licenses at the government office.

There is an easy process in applying for the licensure exam. Here are the requirements for Chemist Board Exam 2023:

  • graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
  • National Statistics Office (NSO) or Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA Birth Certificate
  • NSO or PSA Marriage Contract for married female applicants
  • Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
  • valid NBI Clearance

The requirement for clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is applicable to both first time board exam takers and repeaters.

Aside from the documentary requirements mentioned above, you also need to prepare some amounts of money for the PRC Board Exam fees. The fees depend on the board exam that you will take and their payment is part of the requirements in taking the exam.

You must monitor the application period set by the Professional Regulation Commission for the Chemist Board Exam. With the application period, go to a PRC office nearest to you and submit your documents. It is best to keep your documents safe in a single plastic envelope to prevent the papers from getting accidentally torn or wet.
