PRC BOARD EXAM FEES – Here is a guide on how much you must prepare in taking a licensure examination conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission.

In the Philippines, a lot of licensure exams are administered by the Professional Regulations Commission. It is more commonly called PRC and it has several branches in different regions across the nation.

The Professional Regulations Commission conducts many of the biggest board exams in the country that gather thousands of takers every year. Some of these board exams include the Teacher’s Board Exam and the Licensure Exam for Nurses. In taking a board exam, an applicant must prepare not only his/her readiness for the topics that may come out as well as the scrutiny of the many board exam tips but also prepare for the PRC board exam fees.

Before discussing the amount that you must prepare in applying for a board exam, it is important to secure your eligibility to take a licensure exam administered by the Professional Regulations Commission. To be eligible to take the exam, you must be:

  • a Filipino citizen
  • at least 18 to 21 years old
  • of good moral character
  • a Graduate or a Holder of a Degree from a school, college or university duly recognized by the government
  • free from conviction of an offense involving moral turpitude with final judgment by a court of competent jurisdiction

There are also documentary requirements that you must prepare in filing for a board exam. Here are the documents that you must prepare and bring with you in applying for a board exam at the nearest PRC branch office:

  • Transcript of records (TOR) with scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination purposes only”
  • Birth Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Security Paper
  • Marriage Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for married women
  • Four (4) pcs. passport size picture with complete name-tag in white background
  • Government Issued ID and/or any valid ID
  • Documentary Stamps

For the PRC board exam fees, there are fees for the initial registration and for the licensure exam fees. Here are the fees that you may be asked to pay for:

Initial Registration

  • Baccalaureate – Php 1,050.00
  • Non-Baccalaureate – Php 450.00
  • Certification/Authentication/State Board:
    • Regular – Php 75.00
    • Express – Php 200.00

Board Exam Fees

  • Baccalaureate – Php 900.00
  • Non-Baccalaureate – Php 600.00
  • Conditional: Php 450.00
